What's in the Barn: Part 2

Hallelujah, the humidity dropped the last two days. I can quit yelling, "I'm melting...I'm melting, like the wicked witch of the west. I sanded all the furniture in waiting yesterday, and got another coat of paint on them today. Finally some progress. It will be a day or two before anything is ready to show. So without further ado...

Ready to be bored with more treasures from our barn? This green suitcase was my mom's in college. I have another smaller one just like it. I really like it... just not crazy about the color.

This very grungy, plastic planter has seen better days.  I do like the raised design on it.  I'm thinking some Fusion plastic spray paint in heirloom white or perhaps black?

I used to have a huge Scheffelera plant in this very large basket.  I no longer like the finish on it, but what about painting it?  What do you think...ORB, sage green, white...I'm just not sure yet.

Another birdhouse my youngest son made at church a long time ago.  I can picture this painted to look like one of our many lighthouses in Michigan.

This old exterior door was along the road with a free sign on it.  I snatched that baby up in a heartbeat.  My husband thought I was nuts.  I really need to do something really cool with it to prove him wrong...heh, heh, heh!

My sister-in-law gave us this antique Singer sewing machine years ago.  For many years we used it for a little side table.  I don't think the machine works anymore.  I like it, but have limited space, so I'm not sure what to do with it.

The paint on these planting boxes is half worn off and one is missing a handle.  I'd love to remove the paint completely and just have the galvanized.  It's really not a nice sort of chipping, just junky looking, and I don't like the color.  Does anyone know how to remove paint from galvanized metal?  I think they would make cute storage containers in my craft room.

You aren't going to believe this, but I'm going to have to do a Part 3.  I have that much more stuff...and I haven't even showed you what's in the basement.  Yikes!
