What We Accomplished Wednesday # 5

Want to be a pin-up girl?  Join the party, and if you are featured, I'll pin your project to my Green Willow Pond Features Board!

I'm finding it difficult to post Pinteresting Mondays, Tuesdays Top Ten, and this party on Tuesday night, so from here on out, I will be including the features right here with the party.  I think it will be better exposure for the featured links too.

If you missed it, I posted a tutorial for my Rustic Valentine Wreath here.

Also this week I upcycled this tin for storage of all the little bits 'n bobs in my craft room.  Click on the picture for the tutorial.

I didn't get any other project posts up this week, but I did do some projects.  My neice is getting married in August, and I am helping with some of the decorations.  My sister came this weekend and we brainstormed ideas and made up some samples.  We had a blast, shared some gut-splitting laughter, and even got in some thrift shopping!  I can't share what we did yet...wouldn't want to spoil any wedding surprises, but there will be tons of pictures coming this fall!  Talk about keeping you waiting...sorry.

There were so many great link-ups again this week.  I am amazed at all the talent you all have.  This weeks top link was this French Basket by Rebecca at The Gathering Place.

Danielle at Silver Pennies antiqued a gold mirror with chalk paint, letting the gold peek through...stunning!

I really want to figure out a wall in my house that I can do this to.  Lacey at Feathering my Nest painted a whole wall with chalkboard paint.  I love the dramatic look of it.

Denise...on a Whim shared this gorgeous desk she refinished and painted.  I love the blue and white combined with the stained top!

Marty at A Stroll Thru Life added touches of apple green to her already magazine worthy living room.

Check out this fun dresser painted by Suzan at Simply Vintageous.  Subway art always makes my heart beat a little faster!

Brandi at Don't Disturb This Groove got to meet Young House Love and Bower Power which I'm sure was exciting.  I got excited when I saw the pillows she made for them.  Bam!  These dahlias are hot glued on...no sewing involved unless you sew your own pillow.

Beachcomber shared her pretty white cupboard filled with blue and white dishes for a pretty and fresh, cottage look.

I realize I am featuring two chalkboard walls, but I can't resist, and Angela's use of chalk paint as a backsplash is such a great idea!  You can see it at  Number Fifty-Three.

Last, but certainly not least, are these yummo looking chocolate/peanut candies from Andi at The Wednesday Baker.  There's only three ingredients and they are made in a crockpot!  I love her presentation of them.
