Want to be a pin-up girl? Join the party, and if you are featured, I'll pin your project to my Green Willow Pond Features Board!
I had a really hard time choosing features this week. Partly because I kept falling asleep while working on this. I'm battling the flu right now (the stomach sort). I put in a rough couple of days, but after two naps today, I'm feeling a little bit better. This has not been a good year for me healthwise, so far. I rarely get sick, and I can't even remember how long it's been since I had intestinal flu. I have a great hubby though, who has been taking good care of me, and even vacuumed the house and did laundry today. Hopefully this is the last bug I will catch this year!
I did get some projects almost finished this week. Here's a sneak peek at one of them. I will be posting this later this week.
There were so many terrific link-ups this week, I had a really tough time deciding. Before I list the features, I want you to know that you are all winners in my book. You put your time, effort and creativity into your projects and it shows. Thank you so much for sharing it with me each week. It truly is a blessing.
This week the top clicked link was this dreamy white desk by Rebecca at Gather Ye Roses. Rebecca didn't think it was anything special...wrong! She styles everything so beautifully, and white just sets it all off.
Amy, from Home Happy Home, shared her new kitchen. It is amazing all they accomplished for the amount that they spent!
Penny, at Penny's Treasures, has been busy sprucing up outside. I love this deck with that huge galvanized tub! Check out her front porch and yard too.
I wish I could throw something together this fast and have it come out so fantastic. I am what I like to call slow creative. (Did I just call myself slow?) But not Debi at Homeward Found Decor. She took this shed from totaled to terrific in just 2 days...and she didn't spend a cent! You have to see this!
I have always wondered how to repair fancy moldings. Kim, from Reposhture, gives and excellent tutorial! I will be purchasing some of this product and following her directions! Didn't this mirror turn out beautiful? You'd never guess much of the molding was missing before.
Inspired by PB's Easter Eggs from a few years ago, Susan from Elizabeth and Co., created these paper mache versions. They just make me happy to look at them!
I have used beadboard wallpaper on my kitchen cabinets with great results, but never thought to use it on the ceiling! That's exactly what Casey, at Living a Cottage Life, did. She used boards to hide the seams. It reminds me of the ceilings in my grandma's house. Love it!
Isn't this darling? Can you believe it's a dollar store glove? Check out what else Lynn, from Shabby Story, did with these gloves.
Ok, I've read and reread this post. I keep finding typos, but the room is spinning, so I give up now. If you find an error, please let me know. Hopefully I got the right pictures with the right blogs and names :P Tomorrow wiil be better right?
Thank you so much for featuring my front porch! Have a great rest of the week....hugs, Penny
