Pleated Christmas Ornaments

Time is ticking...what was I thinking signing up for a craft show three weeks before the event, and three weeks before Christmas? Granted, I have a lot of things made, but my brain is crammed with ideas of things to make. Workin' my fingers to the bone! But I am loving it! I feel a little like Professor Hinkle from the movie Frosty. I've got to get busy, busy, busy!

I had so much fun making these pleated lolly style ornaments. I want to keep them all, but I cannot. I will be making some for myself later though.

I didn't take pictures of the process as I just don't have the time. But I found this excellent tutorial over at Craftaholics Anonymous if you want to make your own.

These are also available in my Etsy store. Now in my best Professor Hinkle voice...I've got to get busy, busy, busy!

  1. These are beautiful! I could see having dozens of them on the tree!

  2. These are so pretty -- love the monochromatic look and all the glitz and the clock faces -- bravo!

  3. Hi Deborah, your ornaments are beautiful and I love the sparkle and patterns. I can relate to being busy. I too have a lot going on and creating away.
Best wishes on the show. I know you will do great.
    Wishing you a Happy Thanksgiving!

  4. Love these -- so beautiful; they must look wonderful on a tree with lights reflecting. Sally

  5. Your pleated ornaments are SO beautiful Deborah! How sparkly they will be on the tree. LOVE!
Have a blessed Thanksgiving day dear lady,

  6. These are sooo pretty! I love the clock face one. How pretty would they be on a white tree!!
    Happy Thanksgiving!

  7. Deborah, these are gorgeous! Blessings, Cecilia

  8. My dear friend... I'm so sorry I haven't been by. I got a little over-committed and probably need to be committed. LOL :)
Deborah... I love these ornaments. How fun they would be for a New Years tree or wreath. Not that I ever had a New Years tree... but these would make the perfect reason to create one.
P.S. Thanks for praying... my laptop is up and running 9.5 hours of work later. What a blessing!

Thank you for taking time to leave me a comment. They make my day!
