What We Accomplished Wednesday #63

Want to be a pin-up girl? Join the party, and if you are featured, I'll pin your project to my Green Willow Pond Features Board!

Happy Fall Y'all! Okay, I know I'm a little late, but I've resisted as long as I can. The trees are turning and starting to lose their leaves. Don't get me wrong, I love this season. I just hate what comes next.

Last winter was a bitterly cold one and I'm hearing this winter is predicted to give us more of the same. Walking out of work after 9:00 PM, praying your car will start in 20 below temperatures, then sitting in the freezing dark while the engine warms up is the pits. Not. Looking. Forward. To. It!

I haven't even decorated for fall yet.  Hanging my head in shame. Before Christmas would be good.  I will try...really, I will try this week.

If you missed I did share a project last week.  One that I did not make.  My beautiful daughter made it for me last Christmas and I am just now sharing it.  I know...hanging my head in shame again.

I'll just go stand in the corner now and let you see all the wonderful projects that other people did make. Cause you people rock!

Cindy, from DIY Beautify, created this sumptuous bunch of shabby chic pumpkins.  Aren't they adorable?

I love this fall vignette that LuAnn, from Lovely Livings, created atop her pot rack.  The textures and soft color are just beautiful!

This is one of the cleverest ideas I've seen for a lampshade in a long time.  I love the way the buttons shimmer in the light.  Check it out at Wild Rose Vintage.

As much as I love this shade of blue painted pieces, you'd think I would have painted one myself by now!  Love this one by Up With Furniture.

Here's another clever idea, but with pillows.  Erlene, from My Pinterventures, used dollar store felt shapes to create these cute pillow covers.

I'm loving all these fall inspirations...maybe it will help kick me into action!  Karen, from Karen's Up On the Hill, shares a house full of beautiful fall decor!

Crystelle, from Crystelle Boutique, shared a diaper bag she made for a baby shower.  I just love corduroy and all the fabrics she used to create it.

This cord roll cover, created by Heather from Wood of the Bell Trees, is the most original idea for something normally utilitarian.  Isn't the blue leather just gorgeous?  Love this idea!

Who doesn't love all the pretty infinity scarves of late.  Eliza, from Eliza Ellis, shares a tutorial on how to make your own.  Very simple, and so pretty!

Cholesterol issues aside, if I fixed this three meat and cheese dish for my boys, I'd have them all groveling at my feet for a taste!  For a once in a while treat, this is something I have to try.  Find the mouthwatering recipe at Homemade Interest.

Now it's your turn.  Show us what you've accomplished.  Can't wait to see what you've been up to!

The Simple and Easy Rules

1. Only projects you have made/accomplished pretty please. This means no round up of others projects, give aways etc. Items for sale are okay, as long as they are in tutorial form, and linked to your blog post.  No links to shops or Etsy stores, or round-up posts of others projects please.  Link up to 3 posts - please link posts new to this party.

2. Linking back to the party (text or button) within your post is very much appreciated . You can grab a button from the side bar if you like.

3. By linking up here, you are giving me permission to feature you here, on Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and/or Pinterest.  I'll only use 1-2 pictures from your post and link back to you. Then people will be flocking to your blog to read all about it!!  Spreadin' the love around baby!
Most importantly, go visit some of the links because otherwise it wouldn't be a party would it?

I am no longer automatically adding you to my email list to send out reminders about the party. If you want a reminder each week, just use the little sign up form below. You will only be signing up for party notifications. I will not use this list for anything else, nor will I ever share it with anyone. ever. period.

  4. Deborah, thank you so much for the feature! You are too kind!
BTW, I feel the exact same way about winter as you do! Last winter (my first here) was traumatic!

  5. Haha!! Deborah, I don't think you need to stand in the corner! ;) But, I do hope you have time to have a little fun with the goodness of autumn. Her appearance is just too brief...so we need to savor it before the winter. I hadn't heard that it was to be a bad one again. Ugh.
